House description
Splendid villa only 1.5 km from the beach of Cala Bassa, it is an antique typical ibicencan finca with stone walls, white walls and antique wooden beams. The house is very luminous and open to the exterior, surrounded by small charming areas.
The house has been completely restored and combines modern architecture with a touch of exquisite elegance, being in harmony with the traditional construction of the area. The authentic owners lived there until 1957.
A closed space is facing South where the pool is the natural prolongation of the interior spaces and the exterior terraces. An Arabic inspired canal plays the sound of murmuring water, a wooden plank of the shape of a chill-out floating in the pool, and the lush vegetation of Ibiza's mountains that surround it.
The house is surrounded by fields of almond, olive, pine and juniper trees, and is located on the bottom part of a small hill, facing East, with fields of almond trees, the house with 6 bedrooms, terraces, porches, kitchen, living rooms, fully integrated in nature.
The house is distributed on two floors, around it are several annexes that have been converted into bedrooms, leaving ample exterior spaces like the East terrace, and access to the roof top facing South, near the pool.
On the ground floor of the main part of the house are the living areas, dining area, kitchen, guest toilet, and two bedrooms. A covered terrace facing East can be converted into a dining room during the summer months, along with a living area.
Another covered terrace facing South has living areas, the BBQ, and its prolongation is the roof top terrace and the pool. The chill-out at the back is the beginning of the forest area.
On the top floor is the main bedroom with a private terrace and views of the bay of Portmany.
There are another three bedrooms, all with bathroom, outside the main house, giving it its shape.
The distribution of the bedrooms is as follows:
Main bedroom with double bed, a level higher with en-suite bathroom and hallway. Private terrace. Second bedroom ground floor with 2 single beds, third bedroom (single). Fourth bedroom with exterior access and private patio, shared with the fifth bedroom (2 single beds), bathroom and hallway en-suite. Sixth bedroom with double bed, exterior access, private terrace and en-suite bathroom and hallway.
All bathrooms have ample showers, sink and toilet. The main bedroom additionally has a bathtub.
The kitchen is very luminous due to its large windows, has an exterior access to a little porch for breakfast. Fully equipped with fridge, freezer, hub, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, and lots of household and cooking utensils.
Next to it there is a small room with a chimney.
Equipped with: Sat-TV (Astra), Wifi, Phone, Portable Player Dock (Iphone compatible), alarm system connected to main alarm center, air condition in the rooms, BBQ, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and a big stock of towels and sheets.
